Markleyville, est. 2004
That's right, just four short years ago, Markleyville was officially founded. Not in the blogosphere, mind you, but in flesh and blood. On this day, Wifey and I pledged to honor and serve one another until the fullness of our days. We've had quite the adventure ever since. Tonight we celebrated with movie night; tomorrow night Gunka Ka (Uncle Kevin) will watch the little one so that we can actually be out at night. All of this is in the midst of us moving to a new house. We'll post pictures soon. Thanks to everyone who has given us their support and love over the last four years!

Bactracking again...Easter weekend
Hi friends and family,
I am finally putting up pictures of our Easter weekend with the Markleys. Gary, Nancy, Tom, and Kate came down, and we had a great time! We enjoyed the sunny weather, a little Long Beach beauty, and a lot of time hanging out with Bennett. The group went to a church service on Sat. night that Kevin played music at, and Sunday the Randalls (my sis.) joined us for brunch at our house.
I wish I had more pictures, but you know how it goes, we pretty much just focus on the little guy.
Enjoy!

Anybody Out There?
I know we have friends, I know when are loved, but come on people, let us know :)!
The comments section of the blog is a little sad lately. I can relate to Kathleen when she said: "I turn on my computer. I wait impatiently as it connects. I go online, and my breath catches in my chest until I hear three little words: You've got comments (mail)."
Rob urged me not to write this, arguing that he does not want pity comments, but me...I'll take them.
We changed the setting so that you do not need to have a blog in order to comment (Mom: are you reading?).
I just wanted to send this cosmic idea out into the void. So good night, dear void. ...
We love you all!

Backtracking
Hi Friends,
I have neglected to put up pictures of some special events that happened over the last month, so I am going to put up some new/old photos.
The first is St.Patrick's Day with our sweet friends Jenny and Karrah. Jenny was down for the weekend and the five of us had breakfast and walked around at the marina in Dana Point. Jenny and Victor are only about 7 weeks away from meeting their second baby girl! It was really special to get some time even though it was short. Karrah and Bennett had fun catching up; it was a little tricky trying to get them to pose together, though.
