It it so stinkin hot. 99 degrees in Long Beach a couple of days ago, 96 today. I'm dying a slow, sweaty death during my favorite season. The scarves and hats are snug in their boxes, and my house is the temperature of that nice, cozy fire I wish I was sitting by.
I am melting here, people.

We feel your pain ... it was 101 dgrees in Nipomo on Tuesday ... and 99 yesterday.
Try and suck it up by remembering if you lived where that gorgeous picture was taken, you'd have to deal with horrendous humidity all summer and giant bugs - yuck! The weather lady on channel 4 says the cooling trend starts today...
Yes, it is supposed to be cold here this weekend!! So, I'm not sure about my river plan, but we'll "play it by ear". Dad was going to make his Butternut Squash soup 'cause we know you and Rob love it, so it would be nice if it was cooler. Colleen seems to be enjoying the rain. Good luck with traffic!
Not to brag or anything, but I stepped outside a few minutes ago, and... I could see my breath. I am currently inside wearing fleece pants, with the heater on, and pumpkin oil burning. California has many perks, but... Portland has seasons. Just sayin'.
Also... I talked to Kate yesterday and she said that it would be cool if the whole family could end up in Oregon someday (including her and Tom). Just sayin'.
Amen sista!!! Come on now..we were out playing in the pool even at 5pm.Crazy!! However, today is a bit more chilly and windy...could the cooler weather be on its way??? I sure hope so. I'm jealous of Coleen's weather, lucky.
i'm ready for fall too!!! it's nice that it gets chilly at night here though. perfect snuggling weather.
