I haven't been around the blogging world much lately...
We have actually had a lot to share, but the computer hasn't been home. Rob has needed the Mac at work for stuff he can't do on a PC. So the blog (and, more importantly, my record of Elodie's first few weeks) has suffered at bit.
Elodie is 7 weeks now-can you believe it? She is a sweet, sweet baby. She is smiling a lot, and cooing more and more everyday. The biggest, and probably the most pleasant surprise about her is that she sleeps! She goes right to bed with us and just wakes up once or twice to nurse and then falls back asleep-amazing! She and I are still working nursing out. It has been tough, but she is persistent (the lactation lady says, "she's a feeder!"), and I am really determined. We are doing really well over all. We are still adjusting to some degree. I, for example, have not attempted to grocery shop on my own with the two of them. Oh, I can't neglect to mention that she is over 11 lbs. and 23 inches. She is in the 97th percentile for her age; not that I really care about percentages except to know that she is a big, healthy girl!
We have had some great visits lately with family and friends, so hopefully I will do some catch-up posts. Here are our pics. of last week's visit with the Randalls-it was so much fun. Tommy, Ally, and Tara finally got to meet the baby, and Bennett loved hanging out with his cousins.
Auntie Tara looks pretty happy to hold her neice!
She was super helpful, and even took Bennett
to the mall one day (his favorite)

We DID miss Auntie CoCo (although it's just Auntie Colleen at our house)!! Thank you for the sweet blog and the great visit! We miss you guys already, especially little (relatively speaking) Elodie who I know is growing and changing every day. Tommy's pretty sure Bennett's going to come to his birthday party because "it's a Star Wars party, he'll want to play light sabers with me." Even if you're not ready to venture this far (since the grocery store is overwhelming, it might be a bit of a stretch to hope), we'll figure out something soon! Hugs and kisses to everyone from us...
Aww thanks for the shout out. :) I miss all those kiddos muchisimo! And their parents, too, of course. You were right, Elodie is huge! And cute as ever. Bennett's haircut looks studly. You can tell him that sometimes at breakfast I have a little cry over missing him too. ;) Tommy needs to be in toothpaste commercials - the Randalls would hit pay dirt. And Ally is looking so grown up. What is an auntie to do? (Oh - move back soon!) Love you guys!
Thanks Kelly for the new photos of the Randall visit...they are so cute, but you're right ~ Tommy is quite shy??!! I think he should be a Gap model. The photos are wonderful! I especially like the first one, and the one of Elodie all Pink! Next, you should have some of Easter in Carmel Valley? Hope Bennett is feeling better!!
